Mr. LINGANI Moustapha works at Nouna Health Research Center, a unit of the National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) in Burkina Faso. He manages three departments, namely, accounts, logistics and procurement. More specifically, he supervises the management of supply chain of pharmaceutical products, including vaccines for the implementation of clinical research projects in collaboration with partners such as Pfizer, International Trachoma Initiative. Moustapha is dedicated to his role and responsibilities in order to satisfy the beneficiaries and the stakeholders in compliance with the legal and regulatory requirements. His passion for supply chain began when he was appointed to this challenging position.

“Even the slightest negligence can affect the quality of the products. The role of a supply chain manager consistently calls for rigorous attention to detail and compliance with the rules”, says Moustapha.

He intends to support the health supply chain of his country through the process of constant improvement of services, and focusing on risk management. Moreover, if he could change something in his workplace, it would be to initiate the implementation of a good Quality Management System (QMS).

Speaking of Hive platform, Moustapha states that the platform provided an excellent opportunity for him to develop supply chain competencies. The platform is designed by experienced supply chain professionals and is very practical and easy to use.
